In 1947, approximately 40,000 sea turtles were filmed laying eggs on the beach of a small Mexican village.  By 1985, the number of nesting turtles had dropped to 300 to 400.  CLS resident, Pamela House shows us how bi-national group of  biologists, researchers and volunteers from the Texas Gulf Coast  brought these turtles back from the edge of extinction.  And shares the story of one amazing survivor.
