**Message from the Mayor**

I would like to thank Mike Kramm and our city staff for acting quickly to begin the process of preserving our Historic Clubhouse.

Because of their prompt actions, an insurance adjuster was on site Tuesday, June 23, to assess the damage and help determine a path forward for restoring this important community landmark.

I would also like to recognize the generosity of Charlie Felts, owner of Opus Ocean Grille. During the restoration process, City Council meetings will be temporarily relocated to the second floor of Opus Ocean Grille, located at 1510 Marina Bay Drive Suite 124, in Watergate Marina, Clear Lake Shores, TX.   Meetings will be held there until repairs to the Historic Clubhouse are completed.

In addition, I want to thank Mayor Robin Collins and her staff in Kemah for offering the Kemah Community Center. During the restoration process, Court Proceedings will be temporarily
relocated to The Kemah Community Center, at 800 Harris Ave, Kemah, TX.  Court will be held there until repairs to the Historic Clubhouse are completed.

Our community is fortunate to have so many people willing to step up and help when needed. It is a testament to the relationship we have built as a City. Thank you all for your support and dedication.
